I had no idea it would be so difficult and expensive. It seemed like it should be as simple as plugging the camcorder into the computer via USB or HDMI. The video quality is amazing! FYI, if you are having a hard time getting your computer to recognize your camera, uninstall BlackMagic software, restart and reinstall. I had some issues on the first install but uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to do the trick.
